The Mission of the Mohawk Area School District, in partnership with families and in cooperation with the community, is to provide our students with a rigorous and comprehensive education in a safe and stimulating environment. Committed to excellence, we will: enable our students to be critical thinkers and life-long learners, equip our students with the skills needed to meet the demands of an advancing technological society, and prepare our students to become responsible citizens and contributors of a global society.

Hunger doesn’t take a vacation.
SUN Bucks helps offset the cost of groceries during the summer months when school is not in session.
This federally run program offers $120 per eligible child on a prepaid EBT card. Students currently receiving SNAP automatically enrolled, but if not, you may still be eligible! Check eligibility and benefits now at dhs.pa.gov/SUNBucks before the August 31, 2025 deadline.
