Our district strives to be the best we can be in all aspects of our students’ educational experience.  Our students benefit from an outstanding curriculum, 1-to-1 technology, many extracurricular activities, and a devoted school board, administration team, faculty, staff, and community. 

The Mohawk Area School District is located in Lawrence County and made up of seven individual boroughs/townships.  We have one elementary school (grades K-5), a middle/junior high school (grades 6-8), and a senior high school (grades 9-12).  All buildings are located on one campus, and our middle/junior and senior high schools are located in the same building.  Our enrollment is a little over fifteen hundred students. We have favorable class sizes and support our students with 99 faculty members, 81 support staff members, two school counselors, two nurses, a school psychologist, four building principals, a director of technology, a director of operations and a director of special education.
